Happy Huddersfield Town Day!

Today at Ferno we have mostly been celebrating Huddersfield Town Day.
For the past few years Huddersfield Town Football Club has been celebrating April 12 as ‘Huddersfield Town Day’. The reason being, April 12 was a very significant day in the club’s history when in 1925 the club beat Bolton Wanderers 3 - 0 to be crowned thrice champions – the first club in history to achieve this feat. Incidentally it has only ever been repeated by three other clubs – Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United. But Town was the first!
As a local employer and, some of us [ ;-) ], being keen Town fans, we are happy to throw our support behind Huddersfield Town Day
We also want to bring your attention to another activity Town have been up to for the past three years and is equally gaining some considerable momentum namely - the Huddersfield Town Enterprise Academy (HTEA).
HTEA is a free ‘club’ to any business, irrespective of shape and size.
Over the course of each calendar year HTEA hold four, two-hour long events that encourage businesses to engage in a dialogue with the club and, of course, other businesses that are members of the HTEA. Needless to say Ferno is a member.
Town and Ferno also use HTEA to promote or raise the profile of local business in West Yorkshire.
You can join the Linkedin group at HTEA.
Alternatively if you have any press releases or stories that your marketing, communications or PR department would like us to include on the HTEA Linkedin site on a regular basis – then please send them through to Ajin Abraham at ajin.abraham@htafc.com.
Have a Terrier-iffic Huddersfield Town Day!
