While everyone at Ferno is delighted with the team’s success – the company has recently donated funds to the club for a new kit – Victoria had more reason than most to toast the victory.
Monday-Friday may be taken up by her job as marketing executive, but the weekend sees her attention turn to rugby and her role as manager of the Brighouse Rangers’ Under 12s.
Sunday’s cup final against Greetland was a hard-fought game with both sides scoring well but it was the Brighouse Rangers which came out on top, securing a 24-16 victory.
Victoria said: “It was a brilliant match and I’m so pleased for the players. They have had a great cup-run and this victory was well-deserved.”
