Ferno UK’s Operations Director, Alan Clark, attended the ninth Examiner
Business Awards at the John Smiths Stadium in Huddersfield last night, to
celebrate the success of local business companies and individuals. This year’s guest speaker was David Dein, the
former vice chairman of Arsenal FC and the FA.
He spoke personally about his work in helping to create the Premier League
and how technology is helping to improve the game today.
Alan said that the evening was really
well supported by businessmen and women from all over Yorkshire and as an
honoured guest of HTAFC, it was extremely pleasing to see them swoop the
Stafflex Community Award for their work through initiatives such as the Early
Kick Off breakfast clubs and their valuable support for charities including our
other charity partner Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Everyone was a winner on the night and
to his surprise, Alan won an iPad Mini in the raffle for the West Yorkshire
Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, which raised around £1,500. Alan said, it was an honour for Ferno to be
involved in such an event and we congratulate the organisers and the award
winners for their outstanding work within the community.
