You may have seen from some of our Tweets from yesterday
when we attended the National
Ambulance Service Patient Safety Conference 2012 at Aston Villa
Football Club, Villa Park. This is a joint partnership
between West Midlands Ambulance Service and the College
of Paramedics.
The conference was an excellent opportunity for us to showcase
our products which included the Harrier LT-LBS, Compact 2 Track, Scoop EXL and
our new UHI as well as get some insight into new trends in patient safety.
This year there were four main areas of focus at the conference: Cardiac and Stroke - Reducing the Delays to Definative Care; Trauma Management - Reducing Mortality and Morbidity; Keeping Patients Safe at the Beginning and End of Life and Maintaining Improvements in Patient Safety.
